History Clyn Glas is an old farmhouse which has been developed over the last two centuries. In the past it was connected to the local woollen industry and it is believed that weaving was carried out on the premises. It is situated in a spectacular position overlooking the valley where the Hiraeth stream runs on its journey to join the river Teifi. (A well renowned Salmon & Sea Trout river). The name "Clyn Glas"is derived from an old Welsh word -"clyne" - and means "Green Meadow". The cottages at Clyn Glas have been adapted and extended from an old
agricultural building which probably originally served as a cowshed.
